<i>The Antiquarian Society
We are delighted to announce the launch of The Antiquarian Society website.
The Antiquarian Society is a registered not-for-profit organisation whose goal is to discover, observe, decipher and record the relationship between astronomical events and archaeological sites around the world.
As well as protecting and correctly interpreting the megalithic clues left to us by our ancestors we also promote astronomy and archaeology at a grass roots level. In this way we hope to preserve this sacred knowledge for the benefit of future generations.
We offer a number of services including field trips to Britain's ancient monuments and sacred landscapes and seminars and workshops on a variety of related subjects. We also hope to engage local communities in projects designed to promote education in all broad spectrum of interests and concerns.
We are currently constructing a comprehensive database of monuments that can be accessed by all our members.
TAS also provide a Geomantic Landscaping service, whereby local councils, schools and businesses can have their outdoor spaces astronomically/geomantically aligned to maximise tranquillity and harmony with the natural world.
We are looking to develop our current projects and expand the society into areas of education and other enterprises in the hope of furthering the Society's mission.
