Maybe if the file is a b/w map or drawing and not a colour pic , that may cause the error message .

Monsuier CianMcLiam I am endebted - I've finally cracked it! I followed your instructions and changed the file size. I'm posting some images of Rainsborough Camp and barrows remains presently.
