I find the 'pagan' litter the most frustrating it seems to be an attitude of "I'll show my appreciation of this site by leaving naff plastic fading flowers, old tea lights etc etc ". That's littering not appreciation.

Bring on the new powers in the Clean Neighbourshoods and Environment Act - fixed penalty notices all round!

Yeah but how many police do you see at ancient sites? How do you catch someone and prove it was them, if there's no-one there to see it?

We just have to keep educating and shaming...
