Howdo folks
The year is turning so I guess it's time to finish off the year on an upbeat.
It's not been a bad old year as far as the world of TMA is concerned, we've had a few decent 'robust discussions' and on the whole I don't think there have been too many major fallouts and most of us are still speaking to each other, which is always a good sign.
I'd like to thank you all for keeping me informed, entertained and enthused and also for your craic.
I'd like to wish all you stone lovers, rock art hounds, layline chasers, folklore diggers and assorted geomantic fools, a cool Yule and a happy new year . I should also give a big shout out to Holy McGrail and the Eds for keeping the fabric of this wonderful site in good order and finally a big shout to Mr Cope for laying out some of his hard earned to keep this place a greedhead free zone.
cheers

That's the resounding sound of nails hit squarely!

Farking rockulous - well said Fitzcake,

And from me too, a big Merry One, all...

"I'd like to thank you all for keeping me informed, entertained and enthused and also for your craic."

Well said, Fitzcoraldo. It was touch and go for a while back there, but I'm glad I stuck around.

May you all have a relaxed and refreshing break, and I hope those of you planning trips to stoney places have a great time.

Peace & Love to You All

Bugger - Seconded!!! :-)

All the , very, very , best to all. And thank You.

I went around in circles,
All over the globe,
Looking for rock art stars,
as old as the stones,
Told of a site, second to none,
Megalithic maniacs, every single one,
A starman they rocketed deep into space,
They log all the sites, with precision and love,
Photos and records, meticulously done,
Knowledge with wisdom, they will advice,
Eccentrics and oddballs, they have one or two,
Its strangely addictive,
The modern antiquarian, such a strange place.

Kevin.

Aye, love and best wishesto all I know and don't know alike!

Seeing as we're all such nice people on here (well, most of us!), I'm going to share my resolutions for 2006 with you all:

1. 2005 was a bit quiet for me as far as trips out goes. Didn't see much new stuff at all, and documented even less in terms of weblogs etc. Therefore, I'll try to write at leats 1 fieldnote and supply at least 1 photo for every trip out I have to see the stones...

2. Continuing my theme from last year, I will *not* become embroiled in any of the silly argumentative threads that pop up on here from time to time. I will try not to add fuel to the flames...

3. Y'all have a good year, and if I can add to your pleasures in any way, just let me know and I'll do my level best to oblige as long as it's not detrimental to myself or my family conections...

A.
