Trying for construction- I quite like having differente sites on TMA - thats why I come here!! Holy wells, white horses, rude figures on hillsides, even xtian/celtic sites (though know some will argue that there aint no such thing as a celt), strangely do have a relevance to megaliths - they are part and parcel of the whole religious cults, be it pagan, christian or otherwise. Even Julian Cope's book acknowledges this. Even reading today I noticed that a pictish site was based near prehistoric stones and henges, the site was still used as a place of gathering. Think Knowlton Henge with a church inside, a church wall in Cornwall, with a prehistoric stone imbedded in it and a Celtic cross to top it. Life is messy not clearcut and you have to wade through to try to get a clearer understanding.
So three cheers for TMA for allowing it, the same goes for the Portal - fair play all round, and if there has to be a bit of culling here and there okay; so would the male hens (don't think I will use the proper word) stop climbing on top of the dung heap and crowing loudly..... ;) ;)
