Recommend a GPS?

What level of gps do you want ? i have 4 units,starting from basic up to colour maps..for a good solid basic workhorse i would go for the yellow etrex by garmin...for something with colour mapping i use the garmin vista c,they are releasing topo maps for this unit in the very near future.

Although Garmin is the standard answer, I use the Magellan Explorist 300 and find it really useful. It has plenty of functionality, and IMHO is at least as good as the Garmin Etrex range. I got it from globalpositioningsystems.co.uk because their prices seem to be the best. Worked out nicely. :-)
