Hi Andy

Yes, the stones at Meikle Findowie are small but they do seem to fit the corral configuration. Guess it depends <i>what</i> was being kept there and if the stones have slumped at all over the years.

There's one possible key to the question (to corral or not :-) is there any evidence of pairs of stones that might have served as gateposts?

Sorry I'm not up to speed on this; what's a 'corral configuration'?

(A mate reckons that a local site may have been in use as a stock corral, I just wondered what criteria or indications might substantiate that theory for a site's layout.)
