Ah now Moth thats the thing with Nikons.
When I decided to invest in a serious set of lenses (after cutting my teeth on an Olympus) I went to a camera repair shop and asked "What cameras are in for most repair?"
Nikon he said.
"Buy a Pentax, we rarely see them in for repair"

Batteries. That's one thing I'll say for the 350D, the battery has been fine, even in frost. I've only had to recharge about 4 times since the summer.

I do wonder how long the circuitry will last though. You'd never have that worry with a Zenit.
