Since when were Gog and Magog Cornish giants?

Mr H

Dunno - I seem to recall that Gogmagog was a giant who had a pop at Brutus when he landed with his Trojan refugees

We have the Gogmagog Hills in Cambridge with Lethbidge's unproven giant hill figures

Then we have the effigies of Gog and Magog in London's Guildhall since the reign of Henry V. Destroyed in the Blitz, but since replaced

Then we have the two giant oaks at Glastonbury called Gog and Magog. Ditto two oaks in Hatfield Forest but one has recently died

Anyone know anything about this very odd name or pair of names?
