With outriggers certainly, but any evidence for such in Britain? They would still have very limited cargo space though.

You could carry several pigs in a log boat that is 55 foot long. Likewise calves. A bull would be a different story though.

While we think about outriggers etc. Would two skin boats be better at carrying a big stone across a river of two logboats?
