I have have achieved a remarkable accuracy in locating water using nothing more elaborate than a common domestic tap. I find the ceramic ones are by far the most effective, providing a successful result with only a quarter turn, and in terms of quantity of water located, it's hard to beat the ones you find fitted to baths. What's even better is that dowsing with taps can be done in the relative comfort and safety of your own home.
