A bit of patience guys, working things out here as i go along, having problems uploading the pics as well.
Michael Dames book "Mythical Ireland" states that every year at lunasa (i think) there would be a procession up onto the hill with the usual fires etc and the hill is dedicated to Aine the sun-god. I want to get the exact details and references.
However ive given the book to a friend of mine and so I just wanted to experiment with putting the pictures up then id add and the folklore etc.
Or should I have all the info to hand and put it all in together. For me Id just like to put info up as i have time.

The way i see it, we have a sacred hill, with an artifical mound on top, with three barrows and it is surrounded by a hill-fort. There is also another hill-fort on the hill but im not sure of its age.
Ive been trying to edit the posts ive made to reflect this ie. sacred hill as the main heading with the mound, hillfort and barrows as sub heading if anyone can do this (or explain to me how) then please do.
