Fair-e-nuff, he has in Ancient and Modern left us histories of great value "we speak from facts" very houghty; but as an inverted snob I reserve the right to hate the toffs past and present with utter prejudice...

The 'slight' omission of 'Sir' in the title of this thread is an indication of how I feel about tofftiness (and titles) - though there is usually something of value even there :-)
