I suppose Devizes is his museum as it started with his collection, that when purchased was described by the Gazette and Herald as the flotsum of "a marine store"...

but the society that ran the museum started with John Britton (hoorah !!!!) making his library avcailable. Another reason that toffeee nosed twit didn't like the great upstart and self-congratulationist JB ...
