David,
you have mentioned in various posts that a number of your sites should be visited by myself & Hob. As this has been ongoing for a number of years I think it may be time to take you up on this. I am quite keen to hear your ideas and have my conceptions challenged as regards what is or isn't prehistoric rock art or a prehistoric structure.
So hows about it?
Shall we arrange a date between ourselves and invite all interested parties to attend a guided tour of your Northern Pennine sites?
cheers
fitz

No, I'll not be there till the springtime. Do it without me - or come to Bolton on one of those planned 'field trips'. (Please see Victor's website for details of those). Oct 22 7.30pm and Nov 19 6.30pm. Roughly.

Kirkhaugh stone circle is the main item and the Whitehouse Four-Poster are easily reached from the roadside. Most of the stones in Knarsdale are very far from the beaten track and suitable for summer journeys.

>all interested parties

I should like to take the opportunity to formally declare my interest in the proposed expedition.
