David's Cairn

Thanks a bunch - as well as these two cairns I also began excavation of a carved stone. It's on the SR as carved but it's not like anything elsewhere. Kind of wavy lines. I've no decent pictures of it and can't be bothered with the flak.

As far as I am aware I am the only stone professional posting here. I'm not talking about photographers of stones or theorisers of stones but simple worker of stone. A Stonemason eg. So my perspective of the stones is utterly different to everyone else's here. My perspective is pretty much that of the stones. When I find a roundhouse foundation, for instance, the work I see is of the teacher of the teacher of the teacher (and so on) of the person that taught me. I have most of the tricks and I am claiming to be the last of the line. I don't like being called amateur - take a real look at my work and then say that !

I'll disappear when the sites that I have discovered are being properly maintained.
