It aint just me. I imagine just about everyone on this site who's well-into their ancient history thinks the same. Your enthusiasm for the subject is obvious - I just think you've got maybe a little 'over' enthusiastic with this one. That's all. We've gotta be careful in how we see 'ancient history' in the things around us, otherwise it ends up being projected into just about everything we look at.
