C'mon - get real. Are we gonna end up having this website scattered with very dubious sites or what? TMA eds - can't y' do summat about this? Otherwise any Tom, Dick n Harry's gonna be adding sites like collapsed grouse-butts as lines of cairns, or natural pock-marked rocks as cup&rings.

I'm practising my arguments; rehearsing them you might say, before writing a couple of sides of paper about these items for the archaeology community. Testing the water, you might say. I don't like these terms like 'flaky' - the cairns are on the Sites and Monument Register, after all, and are listed as 'David's Cobs'. I think that's online, if you want to pull out the weblink. The cairns have been listed on the Megalithic Portal for three years now ...
