Thanks Fourwinds. I will post my photos and fieldnotes soon. They are a bit old. Well if you consider two years to be old. I guess when discussing these sites two years is nothing. I accually stayed at a B&B in the village of Leap, and came at Reanascreena from the opposite direction that you suggested. But the OS map was very helpful as was the rest of your advice. It was kind of funny, I had the same problem that Julian had in , "The Megalithic European". I expected the Gortroe cross road to be sign posted. It was not. So I kept walking up the road. When I finally figured out I had gone to far north, I saw a single standing stone in the distance. I then turned around and found my way back. It was a fun journey.

I recently switched from windows to linux. I am still working out some of the bugs in the system, but it beats the crap out of spyware infested windows. I have fedora core 4 on my machine, but I am considering switching over to SuSe 9.3. Anyway, I plan on shooting for Stonelifters date of the 29th of April. I plan on being out there for a week or two. I hope the weather is cooperative, if not at least I get to see Callanish again. Also I plan I joining the archocosmology group shortly. In an effort to learn more.
