The problem with the Hawkshead report is that it only mentions the number of finds recorded, not the number reported, which, according to PAS, was much higher.

This would be I presume http://www.findsdatabase.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1151&sid=9fe514709d3370c3a794444a9d1e07a1 .... but it is not stated in that thread what kind of stuff is being reported by those reporting detectorists and not entered on the database and why is it?

Anyway in the next few weeks we will not have to rely just on the "Hawkshead Report", but be able to see the PAS' own latest Annual Reports
