Hmmm. Seen the Mold cape (stunning!) & there's also the famous pointy hat - which also has elements of the same thing doesn't it.

Seeing the patterning from the reverse tho on the ear ornament - ie as depressions rather than 'nobbles' also makes me wonder if anyone knows if there's any stuff designed to have the lines of 'depressions' as the visible side?

If so, it's kind of reminiscent to me of some of the other carvings in Breton stuff like Prajou-menhir. (Can't find a link....)
