Newgrange is built using river-rolled stones too.

the stone circle / kerb cairn at Monzie in Perthshire had a "walkway" of river-worn quartz pebbles between the circle and the cup and ring-marked rock

From what I can remember Glenquickan's kerb is made of woter-worn cobbles as is the kerb of its Cheshire cousin The Bulstones.

The Bullstones' cobbles would have to have been lugged a not inconsiderable distance from the value below and they builders ignored local outcrops of in situ sandstone.
