Quite a lot of sites were cut from it because of editorial/space considerations. I personally don't agree with big lumps of the essay, but it is the coolest looking gazetteer to carry. Instantly recognisable lying on someone's passanger seat.

I would have prefered two books in the one outer sleeve :-)

Yes definately two books. With the gazateer bit paperback so its not so heavy too carry to sites!

My only complaint is its heftiness, its not often I want to clout someone with a book when I'm out and about afterall. Here starts the campaign for a 'pocket antiquarian'!!!
