>> and the pages fall out for free!

This is supposedly fixed in newer print runs. I was told that any bad copies would be replaced by the publishers, but do you want to change your trusted first edition for a later one?

Does the new one correct any of the errors in the first one?

"but do you want to change your trusted first edition for a later one?"

mine's signed, so no thanks! that's not the only reason its utterly priceless to me, though - its been to that many sites with me now that its got about a million happy memories bound up with it. I have to admit that a great deal of the damage done to it is my own fault - like I say, its been to a lot of places with me. I'd sooner have it battered and filled with character than in pristine condition and never used.

I got one in a secondhand shop for three quid. And the pages don't fall out (unlike the one I shelled out £30 for). So keep looking and you might be lucky
