>'it's a lot of money to shell out forra book'

That's what I thought before I got my copy. But the hours of ongoing pleasure and interest it has afforded me over the years makes it one of the most cost-effective items of 'entertainment' I've ever known.

I bet you wouldn't think twice about spending 30 quid for a night out, buying a few beers, cinemas tickets, maybe a kebab.... So how come 30 quid for years of pleasure is so hard to justify?

Don't be such a tight Yorkshire bastard, KK, just buy the bugger ;-)

Not everyone gets the same value for money out their copy of TMA as you did Jane.

It's a lovely book... great package, admirable production values, thoroughly researched, well written... I'll wait till I've saved up enuff money from sticking my hand down the back of mate's sofas.

That I had the chance! Can't remember the last time I had 15 pints, a pill n' a fight with a copper! Actually, that's more of a £90 night out... plus fine...

It's in my genetic make up... I can't help it. As my old Dad used to say, "'ow fuckin' much?!?!"
