Hello folks; I don't come on TMA very often - merely because time, and because I started contributing to The Portal before TMA appeared, so The Portal is my natural first stop.

There are a few factors which will release more time to me soon, so I'll hopefully pop in more often. Also, there seems to be more cross-fertilisation of regulars of one haunt with another, so collaborating more with each other seems to be happening more. :-)

I am off work with our 3rd (new) child for a while, so I am digging around a bit online inbetween domestic & paternal taks.

I would be interested in contributing to later material than prehistory. As a Roman reenactor www.romanarmy.net , Roman stuff appeals very much; additionally we are happy members of The National Trust & English Heritage, and get to castles and abbeys etc as much as we can. More for the kids to enjoy usually than a stone in the middle of nowhere (though I make sure I get those in from time to time!). My oldest daughter once remarked on holiday in Cornwall "You don't have to look at every standing stone!"... guess what the reply was? !

I've read the start and end of this thread... what are the time parameters for the proposed website?

With much interest

Tim
