"Now, Paulus is posting 'Holy' bloody Wells and Crosses"

Oh, come off it!

Why can't people leave Paulus alone? He's adding vastly to this site, and putting a lot of time into it. The Eds seem happy with what he's posting and that's good enough for me. Holy "bloody" Wells were surely hugely significant in prehistoric times, if you ask me. Why else are Ireland's Holy Wells dedicated to Brigid? I'm sure that Saint Helen can probably be shown to have similarly heathen roots (anyone like to enlighten me as to the nature of these? Paulus?). And the crosses he's posted are all linked to the prehistoric in one way or another.

But all that's irrelevant - why can't people trust the judgement of Ed?

I assume you're a disguised "regular". I wish you lot would lighten up on newcomers who are actually adding a lot of stuff that's of great value to the site. There's no need for such hostility and bitchiness, its very petty and small-minded. The gods know how many potential contributors have been put off from posting their stuff because of this sort of narrow-minded outlook.

*trying to keep out of the same old bloody argument (and failing!)*

I agree that Paulus has already made many good contributions to this site - and long may it continue. However, I don't agree with some of his postings - I agree with what Jane has said, earlier. I could post up a few his contributions which I regard as controversial, but I don't really want to feed the flames and to be seen as 'getting at him'. If you'd like some examples, then I will.
