My favouritest places in Cornwall are thus (in no particular order):

Boskawen-Un (stone circle)
Merry Maidens (stone circle)
Alsia Holy well
Sancreed Holy Well
Men-an-Tol/Men Scryfa/Nine Maidens (all very close to each other)

Off the top of me head, that's the best I can do! All are not too far from Lands End and are on these pages...

Have loads of fun... I wish I were there now - I love Cornwall, me!

Oh right, the thread.

Jeff and I will be in England the week of 28 Mar through 3 Apr, arriving in London but heading West immediately. We'll muck about in the western lands for the first several days, making it to Melksham Thursday night, then to London on Friday for a friend's birthday celebration.

If any of you would like to meet up, we can coordinate closer to the time. At the very least Jeff and I could post where we'll be staying on a given night so we could arrange for drinks and laughs with whoever is in the area.

There are so many sites to visit! We're in for a terrific time, I'm sure. And I'm equally positive we'll be back.

The smoking ban is a little troubling. While I enjoy California's ban, when I'm on vacation I enjoy a bit of variety and debauch at the local watering holes.
