Not at all. It's a bloody stupid word ... FULL STOP!

It was invented by people who 'brainstorm' and 'do breakfast' and who work in 'Human Resources' (listen folks .... it's PERSONEL !!!!) and have meetings etc ....

No it was hi-jacked by them.

I used to work in maintenance, we did re-active support - customer called us, and pro-active support - we called the customer.

Alas it now means sit on your hands and has been politicised to nothingness alogn with biodiversity, conservation and many other words of seeming import.

Forgot to mention this earlier, but didya know that 'brainstorm' in that sense is now considered 'politcally incorrect' in some circles because of it's association with some mental health issues? WTF?

Can't remember what the PC version is.
