Born in Colerne eh? So you pronounce it "Cullerne" - right? Gorgeous place, wonderful countryside and incredible house prices! I'm only able to stay in Marshfield by grace and favour while I work on the the restoration of the house and garden, but I do make the most of things while I'm there. Took me a while to find Bury Camp and I'm not sure if it was worth it in the end. Did find Lanhill Barrow near Chippenham, but didn't post pics as Ocifant was there before me and my pics are identical to his. As regards over-posting of identical shots, I suppose self editing will only happen if members want it to. I may still post one or two of the Stoney Littleton pics. It is difficult sometimes when you think that you might have better pics - self deception maybe. Has there been a submissions discussion while I've been away?

Oh how I groaned when I just saw that Goffik had posted more Wayland's photos ...

... However, he's done it! A different piccy of Wayland's

Top marks for effort Goffik! :-)

I think that if you have what you consider to be a better photo than one present then you can mail the eds with it and ask them if you can replace an older image with yours.

Also, even if the angle and the lighting are the same then both images might be valid if they show the tomb in different states of repair or something.

re pronunciation....yeh, I had a go on my soapbox a while ago on the following page

My last grandparent recently died, leaving her tiny 1 bedroom cottage on Tutton Hill (where she raised my father and 11 other children!!), with amazing views over the valley. If it had gone on the market it would probably have been snapped up at some stupid price by someone working in Bath (or London!).

there were some discussions about submissions, but it seems like it was stuff that was already in the pipeline anyway. Nice Barbury castle pics by the way.
