'Megalithic Mysteries - An Illustrated Guide To Europe's Ancient Sites' by Michael Balfour

Erm ... how do I put this. Don't follow the directions! And never believe the times to reach sites.

Now, this is a rumour right, so it comes with lots of alledgedly's attached ok?

Mr. Balfour doesn't seem to have actually been to many of the sites in the book. There are glaring omissions and inaccurate information, esepcially with regard to the above mentioned directions etc. Some say he just sent a photographer to many of them and wrote them up fom other books (or at least seems to have done). I know one person who has used it extensively and got very frustrated with it. Alledgedly. Well, the last part isn't alledged, he did get very frustrated with it :-)
