What do you make of this then?

The image comes from a German magazine. It is of a hat found in Germany and a cape found th the UK.

There have been 3 of these hats found in Spain and a few in Ireland (probably long since melted down).

Not bad are they?

They're ace I reckon. I want one to wear to the 'Rome' extravaganza in Oct. Look a treat with me false beard....

Didn't you post about this before, 4W?

Further research has revealed that the gold garments are thought to have belonged to ancient rock deity RiK Wake Mann. It is hoped that futher digging may well lead to the discovery of an ancient analogue polymoog. ;^)

I think that they're moon cycle predictors ... you know the old 18.2 years, or vhatever it is

it was on the Channel5 stonehenge prog a couple of weeks back. The main consultant is a mad samba type, so I might catch up with him tomorrow at DSEI, being slung into the back of a paddy-wagon

that's a thought - loads of samba people got nicked today --- imagine being in a metal cage with that lot ...

Yes - I saw them in the Stonehenge programme which featured the ideas of a chap called Sim (I think) All about Stonehenge being about the moon as well as the sun and the wintersolstice sunset rather than the summer sunrise being the reason that it was built. Interesting, but got a bit lost althougth Cunliffe was good. The hats look pure Harry Potter and I wouldn't have believed that they were genuine if I hadn't seen them. I couldn't take in the moon phases that were supposed to be shown on the hats - looked pure decoration to me.

Not a hat, but an ornamental Celtic cod piece.

Currick hat.

The German plate has the sun, the moon and also some stars.
