It's a very big responsibility to send people hundreds of miles after someone has said there is disabled access only for them to find that it isn't quite good enough for their level/type of disability.

Does anyone know if there are any other sites that discuss this?
I mean outdoor activities, walks on bridlepaths etc, surely there is info to be had. Liklihood is that points of interest such as cirlcles etc will be popular too.

I agree with FW about the responsibility aspect.
After all, there are varying degrees of fitness for everyone and no-one is suggesting trying to judge what is suitable for an individual except that person.

Another angle would be to describe what's there, including terrain etc, on what date, ie as fieldnotes.

.o0O0o.

I would agree entirely, all I have been doing is giving a description of the site access as I see it. I take an elderly lady shopping once a week and am fully aware of the problems a simple kerb can cause. With the facilities on this site including detailed maps and extensive fieldnotes I'm sure that people with mobility problems can work out which sites are accessible.
BTW on my sites I'm just putting "Disabled" in Bold at the bottom of my fieldnotes.
