I agree, I too was amazed at the number of gates. And each of them had an info board too.

I'm pretty sure I took real notice of the gates when I was there for summer solstice as we'd just been talking about it.
Sure they weren't kissing gates but proper ones. Whether or not they were wide enough for wheelchairs I am no expert but they'd be pretty stupid not to be as I'm 99% certain the gates even had the "wheelchair" sign denoting disabled access.
