I've had that feeling, Mark. It was nothing to do with megaliths, though. I walked into a pub in Glasgow and it just hit me. It wasn't the pub, either, which wasn't at all scary (or shouldn't have been, at any rate). And it wasn't the drink, 'cause I don't drink (maybe it was lack of drink?). After about five minutes I had to leave, and rushed straight to the phone to contact all of my nearest and dearest, who were all fine...

like I said in the fieldnotes, it left me feeling out of touch with reality (well, more out of touch than usual!) for a few days afterwards. A strange feeling, and not altogether pleasant. Indeed, I hesitated posting that site here for fear of offending the faeries...
