Spirit of Place

“asked too many questions.”
Surely not?

“you are already doing it.... playing.... painting and look at where it has got ya!!”
Yes, nowhere. Lots of stress staying up all night trying to defend my rationalism against myself, successfully I may add. I’ve no objection to Truth, but I’m not a seeker after it, I find it more comfortable to defend my own. And before you or anyone else tells me that’s bad and sad, hands up who doesn’t? You’d need to be Ghandi, and it’s very uncomfortable, as our opinions are formed mighty early and there’s a subconscious struggle to defend them ever after against all the evidence. In the end, bacon sandwiches give me far more satisfaction than truth. Like I said, thinking is not the best route to a happy life.

I could ask you what the hell a hellion is, but I’m eating.

Would that be a marmite sandwich yer eatin? I know what you are saying..... people who have no formed opinions about anything can be pretty boring. I'm not prone to sending people places that they don't want to go..... Just like to know opinions other than my own and sometimes I form a new one, simply because I can.
