Spirit of Place

Sooo either Pete is a lizard dining on crickets or just an ordinary Joe with a tupperware fettish.

All I really wanted to know is how many people feel uncomfortable with the idea of the "Spirits" of a place. It all seems quite natural to me and I wonder what makes people comfortable or uncomfortable with the idea. There'a no wrong or right answer just opinions. An on account of my attention deficit I like to collect them!
Okey Doke!

Clicking on "search" at the top of this forum and typing in the word "geocaching". That may throw some light on the situation! I have to say, mind, that I don't really understand what geocaching is - there was a great to-do about it a while back on this board but I can never be bothered to wade through all the posts about it (there's about a million of them). Something to do with global positioning systems and digging plastic tuppaware boxes out of the ground at ancient sites... its a funny old world.

Oh, and Pete G is probably being ironic - I think he passionately disagrees with the geocachers, whoever they are (and whatever they do).

Confused? I am.
