My own ones ramble a bit. The Scottish megarak ones I post tend to concentrate on our puddings, though occasionally the odd lump of rock gets a passing mention. We haven't had (too) many complaints!

Looking forward to seeing your thoughts on Perthshire and Angus - please don't use Tayside, it was a 70's affectation which has now, sensibly, been dropped. Hopefully for ever!

Slainte,
Nick

Apologies to Nick & any other Scottish Megaraks. It was actually a slip of the brain anyway - I meant 'Loch Tay/Lewis' anyway.

I believe local official 'county' type designation's been a nightmare around there since people started pissing about with that sort of stuff.

I know that Andrea, my ex who's from Montrose can never remember whether her parents' address is 'officially' Angus or 'Tayside'.

I'll encourage her to use Angus!

As a matter of interest who are the other Scottish Megaraks if I can ask without knowing a secret handshake?

Do you do much in Aberdeenshire? Just interested because it's probably the area I know best stoneswise.

All the result of regular visits to Andrea's parents & as many daytrips to stones as I could get away with!! It was me that added Netherton, Berrybrae, and Clune Hill to the site.

Trouble is, by the time I get round to posting about them I can never remember enough about the actual stones to give a reliable description!

Cheers
