Most of us know the area fairly well - I have a mate who lives in Dull. Speaking of which there is a dig in Dull Chapel during June which I hope to attend at least one day of - got an invite from one of the Megaraks who's involved. Should be interesting. It's a Templar Chapel with associations going back to Saint Adomnan (Columba's chronicler) in Celtic Christian days. Possibly built on the site of an earlier sacred site, we found a stone in the field SW of the chapel with a row of cup marks. Aligned precisely with the Carse Farm 4-poster to the SW - and the site of the chapel to the NE. Definitely one for the conspiracy theorists!
