tomorrow morning I will be driving to Pembrokeshire with my sprogs, arriving about 12.30 I hope, (maybe earlier) for a weeks hols in the Preseli Mountains.

I'm hoping to go out tomorrow afternoon with our own very lovely Kammer x hunting for standing stones. I also hope to stand at Pentre Ifan with him. Today I am a Pentre Ifan virgin, whereas tomorrow I will have done it! Yippeeeeeee.

Later, after my partner and treaclechops arrive with her Mum and sister, we're having a Eurovision party with some other friends staying in the village. I'm going to the party as Ireland, whatever than means! Do you think I'll have to wear green?

Anyone else got fun planned for the bank hol w/e?

Have fun Jane - I hope to get there on our way to the ferry next month. It looks a cracker.

Quiet weekend here. May pop down to Kent (Julieberries Grave) if my cold recedes in time, then there's always the possibility of an Avebury run on Monday...

we're doing the 3 Peaks of Yorkshire in practice for the Ridgeway in August

haha! moaning, wet, tired children!

can't wait. Ingleborough Hill fort better be pretty special

enjoy Pentre ifan - get up to Carn Meini if you can, superb place - or just a stroll along the Preseli Ridge

Hi Jane. Looking forward to Pentre Ifan tomorrow. I'm hoping that we'll be in the area before 12.30 (we're leaving Aber at 10am, so we should be in the Holy Land by 11.30).

Perhaps we'll go straight to one of the standing stones further south, and work our way back up to meet you at Pentre Ifan. I've emailed you a revised list of local sites that I'd like to visit, this time with useful URLs alongside them. I realise we won't get to see all of them, or even many of them (especially if the weather forecast is correct), but it's more like a wish list.

We'll have to restrict our movements to areas with mobile phone coverage. What network are you with? We're with Orange, which usually fares pretty well out in the sticks.
