Ive got a pair of sports bins, which are good for checking out the moon and surrounding terrestrial views, but without a good tripod mount my hands shake too much! I live in the sticks now, and theres not a lot of light pollution and the night sky is just full of stars - ive been cruising ebay for prices but its so confusing as to what to buy as a first-timer! Aldi is good for one offs, but anything worthwhile and you get killed in the rush!
