I am currently conducting research for an MA dissertation. I am looking to receive personal thoughts, feelings and experiences of the Nine Ladies stone circle. Tell me as much as you can.
I may wish to quote some of any responses in my report. Such quotes would be anonymous. If you don't wish to be quoted please say so.
Contributions will be most gratefully received.

PS. Does anyone have any information about potential solstice events at the circle.

Hey up,

Don't if you'd call it an event as such, maybe a sesh is more like it.....But there's usually a big crowd up at the 9 Ladies for mid-summer.....it'll all kick off on the Saturday 19th.

Do you have off-list contact details - it may pursuade more to respond.

As for me I love visiting the site and Moor but tend to approach the circle with some trepidation, particularly after certain dates, in fear of what I might find.

On far too many occasions the stones are covered in candle wax dripped on by people who apparently care for the stones. Makes my blood boil.

If you are lucky enough to get the site without other human attendees then it can be fantastic - otherwise it's pretty like other 'tourist' circles.
