Visiting Wooler tourist info office, found this carved stone which had been found by a local builder called Robert “Bob the Builder” Fairnington, and donated to the tourist office.

Scottish Archaeology Month 2005
The Council for Scottish Archaeology (SAM) are having their flagship annual event during September.
SAM is a programme of archaeological events that take place in September all over Scotland from some of the remotest islands to the busiest of city centres. People of all ages and interests should find an event that will appeal with many events suitable for families and young people.
