This hill seems to have a cairn on top, hard to make out in this shot

Looking out the passage, the wall blocks the view

Chamber 1, you can see the hill-fort wall and the amazing views in the background

With the hills in background

The summit of Dun Ailline, there are 3 stones up here, one seems to have 3 cupmarks on it. Some hungry looking cows came to investigate before i could take a closer picture

Closer shot, the smaller stone seems to have some kind of cupmarks on it.

This stone is going to standing right beside the new motorway to limerick. I like the profile of the hills.

This is the only stone in the vicinity but it looks natural to me. I think this is another stone that has bite the dust.

Shot of the circle from within the trees, you cant see the fourth stone that is outside the trees because of the light

It seems that at least two of the stones are made of a quartz type rock which you can see here where it isnt completely covered in lichen.

If you look closely on the top right hand side of the stone you can see a modern shamrock

This is the stone you see to the right in the last photo. It has six cupmarks that legend calls the hoof marks of cuchulains hound/horse.

This is a shot into the circle thru the pine trees. The stone in the foreground seems to be the smallest of the four. You just make out the fourth stone in the left middle.

Looking out on the N9, to the right (North-west) of the photo you would be looking to Old Kilcullen and Dun Ailline.

This is the edge opposite the N9 looking into Wicklow.

A long shot coming in from the gate at the rear

Looks like access has been improved to the site
