This will give u an idea how waterlogged they become. It was up to the edge of my wellies so about 400mm. Surprisingly enough the depth seemed to be fairly consistent whereever I walked in it.

From this site the two highest mountains in the area Galtymore and Galtybeg form an interesting shape.

This looks like where possibly a chamber has sunken?

The cairn on top of Gortnageragh at 418m high

The boulder burials line up with the spur of the Mahur Slieve that the sun rises over on Summer Solstice morn.

Its a very thin standing stone, only about 200mm
