All the components of the dolemen are quartzite .

A wider view than that afforded from within the chamber . Not only does the axial orienation of the passage fail to align on a point of the horizon where the sun and moon will be be seen to rise at any time , the same applies to the extremes ,i.e. the view from the extreme left and rear of the chamber to the view to the extreme front right edge and vice versa .
