From up here, it truly is a wonder!
The island tuft of beech trees protects Wayland’s
Beacon Hill is so much more impressive from the air

There are SO many stones hanging out at Chastleton Common, its hard to know WHICH are the Goose Stones.... perhaps they ALL are?
How HAS this stone survived? It must SURELY be the oldest erection in Chipping Norton.
The stone probably goes unnoticed by most passers-by, peeping out as it does from under a large bay tree on the feeder road to New Street car park in the centre of Chipping Norton.
This stone is as holey as gruyere!
I’m not sure what’s more bizarre – the oddness of the cup and saucer stone, or treaclechops doing ‘I’m a little teapot’ (for scale purposes, you understand)
On the right, treaclechops points out the cup and saucer stone standing in an aptly named street in Cropredy, Oxon.
Lissy wonders: why here?
This is the crop circle that Moth and I saw on 3 August 2003. This piccy was taken later that day. This photo (and more!) appear here: cropcircleconnector.com/2003/Devils%20Arrows/Devils%20Arrows2003a.html
A massive crop circle had recently appeared when I visited....
What a view from up here!
My reflection, and that of the stones in Anish Kapoor’s sculpture “Turning the world inside out”, 1996

Another way of seeing yourself and the stones in Anish Kapoor’s sculpture “Turning the world inside out”, 1996
Don’t you just love the contrasts? I did.
