01/01/2020 – They have filled in underneath the leaning recumbent. Guessing it’s to protect the stone from folk building fires there. It’s cracked already. Sadly there were the remains of 3 fires in the middle of the circle today. Humans, I wish they would just think first sometimes.

31/12/2019 – Sands of Forvie ring cairn. Easy to miss in the dunes at Forvie. I love this place, it’s just a little off the beaten track. Very quiet.
