Chamber side slab.

The chamber.

Looking east along the facade/forecourt.

The eroded top of the red sandstone stone.

The standing stone with southern part of the cairn behind.

From the southwest.

The southern chamber.

The very overgrown northern chamber.

Arriving at the cairn from the northeast.

The SE chamber.

The SE chamber (I didn’t even realise there were other chambers in this tomb).

Approaching from the northeast.

It’s rather a shame that the big boulder in the foreground has fallen over.

The outlier.

The outlier.

First sight from the south, the outlier is over to the right, Goatfell rises behind.

Deer Park stones illuminated, seen from the summit of Goatfell.

Coire Lan below Goatfell.

The small stones were completely hidden by the much taller bracken.

Once I’d flattened the bracken, this was revealed to be a little gem.

This took a lot longer to find that I expected.

Looking across Kilbrannan Sound towards Kintyre.

Looking west.

Looking east towards Ard Bheinn.

Looking north.

Looking southeast.

With the Kilbrannan Sound over to the left.

Looking northeast towards the Goatfell range.

Looking north towards what I assume is Mullach Buidhe (but happy to be corrected).

The layout of the chamber isn’t particularly easy to determine amongst the encroaching bracken.

Looking east towards Ard Bheinn. Machrie Moor itself is not visible due to lay of the intervening ground.

Looking southwest.

Looking northwest, you can just see Moss Farm North standing stone as a dot on the skyline slightly left of centre.

Looking towards Machrie Moor.
