The series of comments here is a bit confusing.. Probably there are several Parc y Garreg stones.. I look forward to seeing the Narberth one. But the map ref. for Mrs Young's stone- although it looks similar to the Narberth stone in the photo, is 7277925045 which is over near St.Davids. It is also referred to as Parc y Garreg, Dinas not Parc y Garreg Pen Cnwc in the catalogue of RCAHM.. which threw me for a bit.. then I saw another Ynys Dinas on the coast nearbye (?) but I would be interested in any other comments about the St Davids Stone and maybe the notes made by Mrs. Young.

Hi Vanya, Do you mean this stone, which is near St.Davids...

http://www.themodernantiquarian.com/post/14467/trecenny_stone.html,

As for anything written about her paintings of standing stones, can't say I have come across anything....

Hi Carol, thanks for that. I like 'chattering' to myself, forums tend to unnerve me but your 'Learning how to see and breath' was brilliant.
Also the area around St.David/Solva is my favourite place, though now we live in Yorkshire which is pretty good to ;)
